President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has provided ₱100 million from the Office of the President to Ilocos Norte following the devastation caused by Typhoon Julian. The check was handed over to Governor Matthew Manotoc during Marcos’ visit to assess the damage in the province.

In addition to the funding, Marcos oversaw the distribution of financial aid through the Ayuda Para sa Kapos ang Kita (AKAP) program, benefiting affected residents at the Metro Gabu Covered Court in Laoag City. The AKAP initiative is being implemented across the province, with 2,000 residents in Piddig, 500 in Pagudpud, and 300 in Bangui receiving assistance.

Marcos also conducted an aerial survey to further evaluate the damage caused by the typhoon.
