Manila, Philippines – President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has approved an increase in the subsistence allowance for military personnel, raising it from ₱150 to ₱350 per day, effective January 1, 2025.
The adjustment, outlined in Executive Order No. 84, applies to AFP officers, enlisted personnel, trainees, probationary second lieutenants/ensigns, and other military-affiliated individuals undergoing training or mobilization exercises.
Funding for the increase will come from the AFP’s 2025 budget and other financial sources identified by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM). Future funding requirements will be incorporated into the annual budget proposals.
The order took immediate effect upon publication in the Official Gazette.
