President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has dismissed the explosive budget‑insertion accusations made by former lawmaker Zaldy Co, stating, “I don’t want to even dignify what he is saying.”
Malacañang, through Press Officer Claire Castro, also rejected Co’s claims, calling them “lies” and “propaganda” and accusing him of distorting the budget process for personal gain.
Castro raised doubts about Co’s timeline, noting that Co’s claim of delivering suitcases of cash to Marcos in Forbes Park and Malacañang predates the official bicameral budget deliberations on the 2025 budget.
