Marian Rivera recently shared insights into her new hobby of toy collecting, revealing her excitement and passion for it during an interview. Inspired by her stylist and close friend, Melville Sy, Rivera initially became interested in collectible Labubu figures and soon found herself adding to her collection.
She received her first Molly collectible as a birthday gift from her husband, Dingdong Dantes, which sparked her enthusiasm even more. Since then, Rivera has accumulated a variety of figures and enjoys displaying them at home. She describes the collection as a way to reconnect with her childhood joy, saying it brings her a unique sense of happiness.
Rivera’s love for toy collecting is also a personal reward for her achievements. She frequently shares glimpses of her collection on social media, showcasing rare pieces like the Mega Royal Molly, valued at around P51,000.
In addition to her collecting hobby, Rivera stars in the new film “Balota,” which will be re-released in theaters on October 16. She plays the character Teacher Emmy, a role that earned her the Best Actress award at Cinemalaya.
