New parents Megan Young and Mikael Daez are already putting their own fun spin on parenting — by turning 90s pop hits into lullabies.
On Instagram, Mikael shared a lighthearted video where he and Megan sing the Backstreet Boys’ classic “I Want It That Way” to their newborn baby. Mikael cradled their son while Megan danced and sang beside him. After the serenade, the proud dad told their baby, “That is what you call beautiful singing.”
“Vintage music,” Megan chimed in, laughing. Mikael captioned the post, “Kanya-kanyang diskarte para mapatahan ang baby,” acknowledging their unique lullaby choice.
He joked that their lullaby repertoire instinctively turned into a 90s boy band medley, while Megan might soon switch it up with tracks from rapper Doechii.
The couple welcomed their baby boy just a week ago and are embracing the joys — and improvisations — of first-time parenthood. They tied the knot in 2020 and announced their pregnancy in December 2024.
