The Miss Universe Organization has disclosed the structure for its 72nd competition, scheduled for coronation night on November 19, 2023, in El Salvador. This year’s event will see a change in the selection process, with over 80 contestants vying for the crown. Initially, 20 candidates will be chosen based on their performance in preliminary rounds and fan votes.
These contestants will then participate in the swimsuit round. The competition will intensify as it narrows down to 10 candidates for the evening gown round, followed by only five advancing to the interview round. The final phase will see the top three contestants answer a crucial question to determine who will be crowned the next Miss Universe.
