Mo Twister has confirmed his separation from his wife, Angelika Schmeig, better known as Angelicopter. In Episode 56 of “Good Times with Mo: The Podcast Year 13,” Mo revealed that the split occurred on their third wedding anniversary in June.
“I got dumped on our [third] wedding anniversary,” the DJ shared during the podcast. He mentioned that Angelika might not have realized it was their anniversary, adding, “So, that sucks for me.”
While Mo did not disclose the exact reason for their separation, he touched upon their differing personalities and lifestyles in Episode 60 of the podcast. “There’s a strong personality and a non-strong personality. And the strong personality tends to win, and I’m okay with that,” he said. He noted that Angelika is the decision-maker in their relationship and mentioned that they’ve had a challenging few months.
Mo highlighted lifestyle differences, particularly regarding vices like alcohol consumption, as a point of contention. “I don’t live the lifestyle that she lives, I don’t drink,” he explained. “That’s not fun for me. And if I see it all the time, that’s not a life I want.”
The couple plans to file for divorce soon. Mo and Angelika were married in Iceland in June 2021. They have a daughter named Amsterdam. Angelika also has a son named Lucas, and Mo has a daughter named Moira from a previous relationship.
