The National Museum of the Philippines has announced that it is now open to the public every day of the week, including weekends, with free admission.

The announcement, made on the museum’s official Facebook page, applies not only to the central complex in Manila but also to its regional museums across the country.

“Universal access has always been our priority,” the museum stated. “By opening our museums every day and maintaining free admission, we aim to make our programs and services even more accessible to everybody.”

In December 2024, the museum unveiled Jose Rizal’s “Josephine Sleeping” sculpture on Rizal Day, commemorating the 128th anniversary of the Filipino hero’s death.

The National Museum is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Mondays through Sundays.
