Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has nominated former U.S. President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, officially handing over a nomination letter during their meeting at the White House on Monday.
At the start of their discussion, Netanyahu addressed the media and emphasized ongoing collaboration between Israel and the United States, particularly in efforts to identify countries that could help provide Palestinians with a more stable future.
The meeting, which also included U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, came amid broader discussions on Middle East peace and regional security.
