K-pop group NewJeans took to YouTube on Wednesday to demand the reinstatement of Min Hee Jin as CEO of ADOR, their sublabel under HYBE, by September 25. In the now-deleted live video, the members voiced their frustration, stating that Min’s removal hindered their creative process and expressed dissatisfaction with the current management.

Member Danielle emphasized that Min Hee Jin played a crucial role in shaping NewJeans’ identity, calling her “irreplaceable.” Haerin expressed confusion over external interference, while Hanni shared concerns about unresolved conflicts with other HYBE groups, which she felt the new CEO failed to address.

The group criticized HYBE’s handling of the situation, accusing the company of being “inhumane” and stating their refusal to follow orders “blindly.” Minji called for the return of the original ADOR, combining management and production under Min Hee Jin, as the only way to maintain harmony with HYBE.

Min Hee Jin was removed from her position on August 27, following a legal dispute with HYBE over allegations of breach of trust. She is currently involved in multiple lawsuits with HYBE subsidiaries.
