Operations of the Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT2) were temporarily suspended Thursday morning due to a technical issue near J. Ruiz Station, the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) reported. The problem involved the pantograph, the device that connects the train to the overhead power supply, forcing the suspension of service across all LRT2 stations.

LRTA Administrator Hernando Cayabyab explained that technicians were promptly dispatched to repair the issue, and the affected train was towed to V. Mapa Station.

Normal operations resumed by 9:42 a.m., with the LRTA apologizing for the inconvenience.
