Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC), was transported to Metro Manila on Sunday evening and escorted to the PNP Custodial Facility at Camp Crame, according to a report by Super Radyo dzBB.

A convoy, including multiple police and civilian vehicles with emergency lights, departed from Villamor Air Base after Quiboloy’s arrival from Davao City at 8:38 p.m. The convoy used the EDSA busway to reach Camp Crame, where security was heightened, and media access was restricted.

Quiboloy, who is facing charges under the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act (Republic Act 7610), reportedly surrendered at the KOJC compound in Davao City. He is also facing a non-bailable qualified human trafficking charge under Republic Act No. 9208, as amended.
