Barangay Ginebra import Justin Brownlee acknowledged the team’s offensive struggles after dropping Game 2 of the PBA Governors’ Cup Finals to TNT Tropang Giga, resulting in a 96-84 loss and putting them in a 0-2 series hole. Brownlee admitted that TNT’s defense has effectively disrupted Ginebra’s rhythm, saying, “It seems like they got us figured out on their defensive side.”

Despite entering the finals with an average of 106.53 points per game, Ginebra has been held to under 90 points in consecutive games by TNT’s aggressive defense. Brownlee, who usually averages 28.32 points, was limited to 19 points, nine rebounds, and three assists in Game 2, struggling against TNT’s Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, who led his team with a stellar 37-point, 13-rebound performance.

However, Brownlee remains optimistic, reminding his teammates that the series is a best-of-seven: “It’s first to four, not first to two.” Ginebra will aim to adjust and bounce back in Game 3 on Friday at the Araneta Coliseum.
