Chelsea Manalo, the Philippines’ representative in the Miss Universe 2024 pageant, recently met Miss Universe CEO Anne Jakrajutatip during a pageant event in Mexico. A photo shared on Instagram shows Chelsea posing alongside Jakrajutatip and other international candidates, including contestants from Uzbekistan, New Zealand, Bahrain, and Malaysia.
Chelsea, a 22-year-old beauty queen from Bulacan, is set to compete for the Philippines’ fifth Miss Universe crown. Recently, she captivated fans with her striking look at the Gala de las Catrinas event, inspired by the vibrant Mexican tradition.
The Preliminary and National Costume competitions are scheduled for November 14, leading up to the highly anticipated coronation night on November 16 (November 17, Philippine time).
