Pia Wurtzbach, the Miss Universe 2015 titleholder, has achieved the highest media impact value (MIV) among celebrities at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival held in May. According to data from analytics company Launchmetrics, Wurtzbach generated an impressive $8.1 million (about P474,951,600) in MIV.
Following closely behind Wurtzbach is Indian actress-beauty queen Urvashi Rautela, with $7.9 million (around P463,224,400) in MIV. Third place went to Indian actress-entrepreneur Preity Zinta, who generated $4.2 million (approximately P246,271,200) in MIV, and Indian actress Avneet Kaur, who came in fourth with $4.1 million (roughly P240,407,600).
Wurtzbach also stood out as the top celebrity voice for a beauty brand that sponsored the festival, generating $2.1 million in MIV for the brand from just 10 posts on her Instagram.
Earlier this year, in February, Wurtzbach placed second on the list of celebrities with the highest media value at the 2024 Milan Fashion Week, generating $5.4 million in MIV. She shared the spotlight with fellow Filipino actress Heart Evangelista, who amassed $3.6 million in MIV. Both were listed among the Top 30 influencers at the event, according to data from influencer marketing platform Lefty.
Adding to her accolades, Wurtzbach received the Global Fashion Influencer of the Year award in Dubai this past April.
