QUEZON CITY, Philippines — Positioned to be one of the largest and most vibrant human rights celebrations in Asia, the local LGBTQIA+ community is mobilizing for a historic gathering. The massive LoveL4ban Pride PH Festival 2026 is taking over key spaces in Quezon City today, Saturday, June 27, 2026.
Co-organized by the University of the Philippines Diliman, the Quezon City Government, and the Pride PH Coalition, this year’s festival expects to draw a staggering 300,000 participants and allies, building heavily on previous record-shattering turnouts.
The free, open-access festival spans multiple key spots across Quezon City—including the Maginhawa Pride Village, Cubao Gateway, Tomas Morato, and Araneta City hubs—but the heart of the action is embedded within the UP Diliman Campus. It marks a continuing political push against systemic injustices, highlighting the long-running national campaign for the official legal passage of the SOGIE Equality Law to provide absolute statutory protection against institutional discrimination, safer shared public spaces, and inclusive workplace policies.
