Japanese volleyball star Ran Takahashi, currently in Manila, has been engaging with local athletes during his visit. On Thursday, Olympic fencer Maxine Esteban shared a photo of herself with Takahashi, captioning it, “Olympic reunion. Honored to have Ran in the house.”
Takahashi, who recently competed in the 2024 Paris Olympics with the Japan national team, also participated in a meet-and-greet event on Friday. During the event, he shared the stage with Alas Pilipinas and Akari volleyball players Faith Nisperos and Fifi Sharma.
Takahashi’s visit to the Philippines began on Thursday, much to the delight of his Filipino fans.
