Randy Santiago is set to temporarily take over hosting duties for Willie Revillame’s TV5 variety show Wil to Win as Revillame shifts his focus to his senatorial campaign for the 2025 midterm elections.
Revillame made the announcement during the show’s episode on Monday, Jan. 27, where he introduced Santiago to the audience.
“My last day here on Wil to Win will be on Feb. 10,” Revillame said. “But the good news is that [Manny V. Pangilinan] and our bosses decided that the program will continue even without me. This show was made for you, so please don’t leave it.”

Revillame warmly welcomed Randy Santiago, who appeared on stage and joined him during the announcement. “This is the man who discovered me for Lunch Date, a kind and good-hearted person — Mr. Randy Santiago,” Revillame said.
The two reminisced about their collaborations in the Philippines and abroad during the 1980s. Later, other co-hosts joined them on stage for a lively exchange.
While it wasn’t specified if Santiago’s hosting stint would begin immediately or after Revillame’s departure, he is confirmed to step in as the show’s interim host.
Election Timeline
The campaign period for the 2025 midterm elections officially runs from Feb. 11 to May 10 for Senate and party-list candidates, while local and House representative candidates will campaign from March 28 to May 10.
Revillame’s transition highlights his focus on the upcoming elections, while Wil to Win will continue entertaining viewers under Santiago’s guidance.
