Rayver Cruz has publicly apologized following a livestream incident with his girlfriend, Julie Anne San Jose, where his overly energetic demeanor led to social media backlash. During the live session meant for fan interaction, Cruz’s behavior appeared hyperactive, causing concern and discomfort, as noted by observers including a social media user @mehmehmeh143 on X (formerly Twitter).
Cruz responded to the feedback by expressing regret to those offended and explained that his behavior was a natural expression of his playful and joyful nature, especially in San Jose’s presence. He emphasized his deep respect and love for San Jose and her family, asserting that he would never intentionally cause harm.
Furthermore, Cruz defended his professional conduct and respect for his colleagues in the entertainment industry. In the wake of the incident, he advocated for understanding and respect among the public.
Julie Anne San Jose also addressed the situation, responding to accusations on X that Cruz was under the influence during the livestream, calling them excessive and offensive. She urged for the cessation of such harsh claims.
As the controversy unfolds, Sparkle GMA Artist Center, Cruz’s agency, has not yet commented on the matter. Meanwhile, Cruz and San Jose, along with other Kapuso celebrities, are preparing for their upcoming Sparkle Goes To Canada concert tour in April.
