Former House Speaker Martin Romualdez firmly denied the recent accusations made by Zaldy Co, stating that his conscience remains clear. Romualdez emphasized that throughout the ongoing inquiry, no public official, contractor, or sworn witness has linked him to any wrongdoing.
He called on the public to remain calm and let the proper institutions—such as the Independent Commission on Infrastructure (ICI), Department of Justice, and the Office of the Ombudsman—thoroughly evaluate all statements and evidence.
Romualdez also expressed his willingness to cooperate with any lawful process and insisted that due process must be respected.
