SB19’s Stell and Pablo added a touch of P-pop royalty to the premiere night of Green Bones, one of the entries in the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), held Friday at SM North Edsa.

The group expressed their gratitude to GMA Network for inviting them to the event and shared their excitement over their 2022 single, Nyebe, being chosen as the film’s official theme song.

“Big congratulations to the talented Green Bones team and everyone involved in bringing this amazing movie to life. Watching the movie was an unforgettable experience!” SB19 wrote on Instagram alongside snaps of Stell and Pablo on the black carpet.

A Star-Studded Night

The premiere was headlined by lead stars Dennis Trillo and Ruru Madrid and attended by prominent GMA Network executives, including Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, Nessa Valdellon, and Joy Marcelo.

Other attendees included the film’s cast members Mikoy Morales, Sofia Pablo, Alessandra de Rossi, Pauline Mendoza, and Iza Calzado, as well as supporters like Jennylyn Mercado, Bianca Umali, Bryce Eusebio, Paul Salas, Kyline Alcantara, and more.

About Green Bones

The film, an original story by GMA Public Affairs’ JC Rubio with a screenplay by Ricky Lee and MMFF 2023 Best Screenplay winner Anj Atienza, tells a gripping tale of justice and redemption. Dennis Trillo plays a prisoner infamous for the murder of his sister and her daughter, while Ruru Madrid portrays a determined prison guard bent on keeping him behind bars.

Produced by GMA Public Affairs and GMA Pictures, Green Bones promises to be an unforgettable cinematic experience.
