Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. has categorically denied allegations of violating the Carousel Bus Lane rules in EDSA, Manila. In his statement, Revilla clarified that his regular route is from South to the Senate, negating any possibility of him being on EDSA in Mandaluyong.
He emphasized that there’s no truth to the reports of him being apprehended for using the EDSA carousel busway. Revilla also mentioned his intention to seek clarification from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on why his name was involved in this incident.
Despite these reports, traffic authorities released the apprehended vehicle after confirming it belonged to Senator Revilla and that he was inside it at the time.
