NBA stars Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Giannis Antetokounmpo led the 2024-25 Kia All-NBA First Team, announced Friday, with four returning honorees and one new face joining the elite lineup.
Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo earned his seventh straight first-team nod, continuing his dominance. Oklahoma City Thunder guard Gilgeous-Alexander, recently named MVP, made his third consecutive appearance. Also returning are Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic (second in a row) and Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum (fourth straight). Cleveland Cavaliers’ Donovan Mitchell made his debut on the First Team after previously earning Second Team recognition in 2022-23.
All four returning members were unanimous picks on all 100 ballots from a global panel of media voters.
All-NBA Second Team included:
- Jalen Brunson (New York Knicks)
- Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors)
- Anthony Edwards (Minnesota Timberwolves)
- LeBron James (Los Angeles Lakers)
- Evan Mobley (Cleveland Cavaliers)
James extended his historic All-NBA record to 21 selections—one for each of his NBA seasons. Curry collected his 11th career nod, while Mobley, also this season’s Defensive Player of the Year, made his debut.
All-NBA Third Team:
- Cade Cunningham (Detroit Pistons)
- Tyrese Haliburton (Indiana Pacers)
- James Harden (Los Angeles Clippers)
- Karl-Anthony Towns (New York Knicks)
- Jalen Williams (Oklahoma City Thunder)
Harden, an eight-time honoree, returned to the list for the first time since 2020. Cunningham and Williams earned their first career All-NBA honors.
Selections were made without regard to player position, with votes weighted—five points for First Team, three for Second, and one for Third Team votes. Ballots were verified by Ernst & Young LLP.
