A tragic plane crash occurred in Isabela, Philippines, involving a Piper PA-32-300 aircraft. The plane, operated by Cyclone Airways and owned by Fliteline Airways, had departed from Cauayan Airport on November 30 and was due to arrive at Palanan Airport. Unfortunately, it was reported missing and later found in Barangay Casala, San Mariano municipality.
The pilot was found deceased at the crash site, while the lone passenger, not found in the immediate vicinity, appears to have survived, as indicated by a makeshift shelter near the wreckage. Rescuers plan to transport the pilot’s remains to Cauayan City and have deployed K9 trackers to follow the scent of the passenger through the vegetation.
