The UFC has confirmed that it is preparing to stage a fight event at the White House in 2026, marking a first in professional sports history.

The announcement came after former U.S. President Donald Trump shared the news with supporters in Iowa, revealing that the historic fight would be held on the White House grounds as part of the country’s 250th Independence Day celebration.

“We’re going to have a UFC fight, think of this, on the grounds of the White House,” Trump said, adding that the event would include full championship bouts.

Trump, a known friend of UFC President Dana White, has frequently attended UFC events, including UFC 309 shortly after the 2024 election, as well as matches in April and June 2025.

Dana White echoed Trump’s excitement by reposting the video of the announcement on Instagram with the caption, “This will be EPIC!!”

While a specific date and fight card have yet to be revealed, this potential 2026 event would mark the first-ever professional sports contest held on the White House premises.
