Authorities are intensively searching for a man seen carrying five-year-old Margaux Alliyah Dela Cruz, known as Ally, who has been missing for several days in Angeles City, Pampanga. Ally disappeared while under the care of her grandmother, Teresita dela Cruz, after playing on a footbridge in Barangay Balibago.
The grandmother recounted the moment she noticed Ally was missing, leading to a frantic search that ended in despair when Ally was nowhere to be found. Surveillance footage later revealed a man carrying Ally away from the footbridge, with efforts made to conceal her identity using a hat and facemask.
Police Major Vicky Tamayo of Angeles City Police Station 4 confirmed that CCTV footage traced the man and Ally boarding a jeepney towards Station 1, followed by a transfer to another location. The police are determined to continue the search, reviewing CCTV footage to track their whereabouts.
The authorities have appealed to the public for any information and urged the man to return Ally to the nearest police station if his intentions were benign. The family, especially Ally’s mother, Helen, and aunt, Herminia, expressed deep concern for her well-being, noting her developmental delays and a physical injury, and pleaded for her safe return.
