Veteran entertainment columnist and TV personality Lolit Solis has died at the age of 78. Her daughter, Sneezy, confirmed her passing to GMA News Online early Friday. Solis reportedly suffered a heart attack and passed away at the hospital.

In her final Instagram post, Lolit expressed gratitude to her doctors for their care.

Fondly known as “Manay Lolit,” she made her mark as an entertainment writer, talent manager, and television host. She was notably a co-host on the long-running showbiz program “Startalk,” and also lent her voice to showbiz updates on “Star Patrol” and various radio segments.
