Vice Ganda humorously apologized to Annette Gozon-Valdes during a recent episode of “It’s Showtime” after mistakenly mentioning a different news program instead of GMA’s “24 Oras.”
The On-Air Blunder
On Saturday’s episode, Vice Ganda praised Kapuso singer Rita Daniela’s powerful voice, suggesting she appear on an ABS-CBN news program. Co-host Jhong Hilario agreed with the idea. Realizing the slip-up, Vice quickly looked at the camera and addressed Annette Gozon-Valdes, saying, “Ma’am Annette, I’m sorry.”
Vice added with a laugh, “Baka mabawi ‘yung imbitasyon natin sa GMA Gala. Masasayang ‘yung gown na pinagawa ko,” referring to the possibility of their invitation to the prestigious event being rescinded.

The GMA Gala
Last month, Sparkle announced the return of the GMA Gala for its third year. The star-studded event, first launched in July 2022 to celebrate GMA Network’s 72nd anniversary, is not only a night of glamour but also a fundraising event for the GMA Kapuso Foundation.
