Manila, Philippines – Celebrity doctor Vicki Belo returned from Milan and Paris Fashion Week only to discover that scammers had been impersonating her, texting her friends to ask for money supposedly for charity.
Belo took to Instagram on October 3 to alert her followers about the issue, sharing the scammer’s number and a photo they used of her. “There’s someone who’s texting my friends and asking them for money for charity on my behalf,” she warned, emphasizing that if she needed anything, she would call directly, not just text.
In a separate post, Belo urged everyone to stay vigilant and avoid falling victim to these “evil scammers.” She joins a growing list of celebrities who have been targeted by scammers, including Korina Sanchez, Ariel Rivera, Max Collins, and Marvin Agustin.
