Content creator and vlogger Rosmar Tan has officially filed her certificate of candidacy (COC) for councilor in Manila’s First District. Speaking to reporters, Tan revealed that while she initially had no intention of running for office, she was encouraged by others who believed she could bring “real change” to the city.
“I really had no plans to run because it’s just an additional obligation and responsibility for me,” Tan shared. “But someone pushed me to run, telling me that the people need me.”
When asked about her readiness to handle legislative duties, Tan confidently stated that she can learn what’s required. “Everything can be learned. I’m not a stupid person,” she said.
