In a special video message, Duterte expressed gratitude to all mothers and mother figures for their daily dedication to nurturing and guiding their families.
“Every day that you spend caring for your children and loved ones reflects a love that is sincere, pure, and beyond compare,” she said in Filipino.
She also recognized the evolving journey of parenthood, acknowledging both the efforts of mothers and the continuing lessons learned by them and their children. “As children and mothers who continue to grow, our way of giving back is through love, respect, and a life lived with dignity, compassion, and integrity for others and for our nation,” she added.
