The Office of Vice President Sara Duterte has submitted a proposed budget of P2.037 billion for 2025, reflecting an 8.05% increase from the current year’s allocation of P1.885 billion.
In a social media post, the Office of the Vice President (OVP) highlighted that if Congress approves the budget proposal, it would result in a 12.39% increase in the number of beneficiaries for the OVP’s flagship programs, bringing the total to 1,139,244.
For 2024, 87.59% of the OVP’s budget was dedicated to various programs and projects, with the remaining 12.41% allocated to personnel services, equipment, and vehicles.
The OVP’s key initiatives include medical and burial assistance, the Libreng Sakay program, and the Disaster Operations Center.
