The world’s largest passenger aircraft, the Airbus A380, was recently spotted in the Philippines by plane spotter Lance Fernandez.
In a report on “24 Oras Weekend,” Lance shared that it’s a rare sight to see the Airbus A380 in the country, as it typically doesn’t accommodate passenger flights in the Philippines. “They only come here for maintenance,” he explained.
The Airbus A380, known for its impressive size, measures 72.7 meters in length, 24.1 meters in height, and boasts a wingspan of 79.8 meters. The aircraft features two floors and can carry 555 passengers in a three-class configuration. However, if configured for economy class, it could seat up to 850 passengers.
