CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – A 32-year-old man lost his life after being electrocuted while installing solar street lights, according to a report from Saksi on Monday.
The tragic incident occurred when four workers accidentally touched a live wire during the installation. All four were rushed to the hospital, but one did not survive.
The Cagayan Electric Power and Light Company (Cepalco) confirmed that the accident caused a power outage in one barangay. Cepalco has since deployed personnel to repair the affected power line.
Authorities have yet to release further details on the incident as investigations continue.
