Kapuso star Yasmien Kurdi recently received the Top Drama Actress, Emerging Brand Builder & Entrepreneur of the Year award from the Brand Asia Awards. In a heartfelt Instagram post, she dedicated this achievement to her daughters, Ayesha Zara and Raya Layla.
“This award is dedicated to my beautiful children, Ayesha Zara and Raya Layla—Mama loves you both so much!” Yasmien wrote. “Everything I do is for you two, and we’re always here for each other. I love you, Pangga!”
The recognition comes as Yasmien balances her career and motherhood, always keeping her family at the forefront of her endeavors.
Beyond her acting success, Yasmien has been a strong advocate for her children, recently addressing concerns about alleged bullying involving her eldest daughter, Ayesha. Despite statements from Colegio San Agustin denying any bullying incident on December 10, Yasmien remains proactive. She is set to meet with Department of Education Secretary Sonny Angara to discuss strategies for addressing bullying in schools.
Yasmien continues to shine professionally, most recently starring in the 2023 GMA Afternoon Prime series, The Missing Husband. Her daughters, Ayesha and newborn Raya, are her children with husband Rey Soldevilla.
