Actor Buboy Villar opened up about the possibility of rekindling his relationship with ex-partner Angillyn Gorens in the latest episode of Lutong Bahay, a new show hosted by Mikee Quintos. During the show’s “Kitchen-terrogation” segment, Quintos asked Villar if he’d consider getting back together with Angillyn.
“Hindi na. Parang di ko rin ma-explain pero ayaw ko kasing ipilit ‘yung mga bagay na hindi na,” he responded, explaining that he doesn’t want to force something that isn’t meant to be.
Villar shared that he’s happy with their current arrangement, focusing solely on raising their two children, Vlanz Karollyn and George Michael. “Masaya ako sa sitwasyon namin ngayon dahil naka-focus kaming dalawa sa mga anak namin. Wala kaming gusto sa future kundi mapaganda ang kinabukasan ng mga anak namin,” he said.
Buboy and Angillyn, who were engaged in 2016, separated in 2020 but have remained close friends and committed co-parents. The former couple regularly spends time together with their children, maintaining a harmonious relationship. “No hate to each other. Dapat love lang,” Buboy said in a previous interview.
