Actress and businesswoman Kris Bernal recently shared a humorous yet honest glimpse into the challenges of building a house. In a TikTok video captioned, “POV: Ang mahal magpagawa ng bahay” (“It’s so expensive to build a house”), Kris humorously acted out symptoms of financial stress, like feeling fatigued, having blurry vision, and seeming absent-minded.
Reflecting on the experience, Kris quipped, “Kailangan ko na bumalik sa pag-aartista” (“I need to return to acting”).
Bernal has been documenting the journey of constructing “Casa Choi,” the dream home she began building with her husband Perry Choi in 2020. Despite the hurdles, she remains positive, recently posting an update saying, “Malayo pa pero malayo na!” (“Still a long way to go, but we’ve come far!”).
Kris and Perry, who married in September 2021 after their engagement in early 2020, welcomed their first child, Hailee Lucca, in August 2023.
