World No. 3 pole vaulter EJ Obiena and his girlfriend, Caroline Joyeux, are gearing up for their debut at Paris Fashion Week. EJ shared the exciting news on Instagram, posting a photo of the couple with the caption, “Paris Fashion Week, we are coming!”
Obiena and Joyeux, a German athlete, have been together since 2020 after meeting at a training camp in Italy. In a previous interview, the Filipino athlete expressed how Caroline inspires him to be a better person.
Caroline is currently in the Philippines enjoying a vacation with EJ and recently participated in a coastal cleanup drive in Pasay City.
EJ recently finished fourth at the 2024 Paris Olympics, significantly improving from his 11th-place finish at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Caroline praised him after the event, calling him a “real fighter” and expressing her pride in his achievement.
