MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The FPJ Panday Bayanihan Partylist, inspired by the heroism and
advocacy of Fernando Poe Jr., has officially filed its candidacy for the 2025 Elections. The filing
event, held at the Manila Hotel, was attended by key figures in the party along with a diverse
group of supporters representing various sectors across the country.
Leading the slate of nominees is Brian Poe, the first nominee of FPJ Panday Bayanihan. He
was accompanied by his mother, Senator Grace Poe, a long-standing advocate for social justice
and a central figure in continuing the legacy of her father, Fernando Poe Jr. Together, they
reaffirmed their commitment to advancing a platform based on Food, Progress, and Justice
(FPJ)—core pillars that aim to uplift marginalized Filipinos through equitable access to
resources, sustainable development, and the promotion of justice.
Brian Poe emphasized the party’s mission during his remarks: “FPJ Panday Bayanihan is not
just another party list. We have been working for over a decade, directly helping more than
20,000 Filipino families through our outreach programs and initiatives. Our platform is built on
consultations with sectoral leaders to create an inclusive agenda for a brighter future for all
Filipinos.”
Also present at the filing was Hiyas Dolor, wife of Oriental Mindoro Governor Humerlito “Bonz”
Dolor, who is a nominee for the party. Her candidacy further solidifies FPJ Panday Bayanihan’s
strong support from regional leaders and advocates for local development, reinforcing the
party’s commitment to uplifting communities throughout the country.
Mark Patron, another nominee, also filed his candidacy, representing the growing grassroots
support that FPJ Panday Bayanihan has cultivated over the years. Both Dolor and Patron have
been instrumental in advancing the party’s mission to address pressing issues such as poverty,
food security, and justice through meaningful legislative reforms.
As FPJ Panday Bayanihan prepares for the 2025 elections, the party remains focused on
delivering impactful solutions to the most pressing issues faced by marginalized Filipinos. With a
comprehensive platform built on the values of food, progress, and justice, the party seeks to
provide real change by driving sustainable development, empowering underrepresented
sectors, and ensuring that social services are strengthened for all.
FPJ Panday Bayanihan’s candidacy represents a renewed commitment to genuine public
service, aiming to carry on the legacy of Fernando Poe Jr., who fought tirelessly for the rights
and welfare of the Filipino people. As the partylist moves forward in the campaign, it vows to be
the voice for those left unheard, advocating for legislation that fosters national progress and
improves the quality of life for every Filipino.
