Herlene Nicole “Hipon Girl” Budol had a memorable night at the GMA Gala 2024. The comedienne and beauty queen seized the opportunity to kiss and hug Alden Richards, a moment she excitedly shared through an Instagram Reel.

Capturing the special interaction, Herlene announced, “Ito, naka-video na ‘to. Eto si Kuya Alden. Magpapaalam ako, iki-kiss ko na siya.” Alden, smiling, graciously accepted Herlene’s kiss and added, “Pwedeng pwede na.” He then hugged her, telling her, “Good job.”

Herlene couldn’t help but express her admiration, exclaiming, “Ang pogi!” She also posted a clip of her runway walk at the party, humorously commenting on her accidental fall with, “Okay lang madapa ako nang maraming beses, basta sa ‘yo ako babagsak,” and concluded her caption with, “Panalo pa din.”

Despite the mishap, Herlene maintained a positive outlook, tweeting, “Sa buhay, kapag nadapa ka, bumangon ka.” She extended her gratitude to Barbie Forteza, who assisted her on stage.

Herlene dazzled on the red carpet in a stunning Leo Almodal gown named “Birth of Venus,” inspired by Sandro Botticelli’s famous painting depicting the goddess Venus.

The GMA Gala, now in its third year, serves as a fundraiser for the Kapuso Foundation, supporting various charitable organizations. This year’s event saw around 1,000 attendees, including celebrities, news personalities, beauty queens, internet stars, politicians, and a few surprise guests, all dressed in their black, white, and sparkly best.

Herlene Budol is currently a host on “TiktoClock” and stars in “Black Rider.”
