Angelo Mesina, the trumpet player of popular Filipino band Lola Amour, has achieved a new milestone—he is now a licensed physician! The band proudly shared the news on Facebook, posting a childhood photo of Mesina with the caption, “Noon pa, gusto ko na maging doctor,” alongside a picture of him in medical scrubs. They also posted a screenshot confirming his name among the passers of the October 2024 Physician Licensure Exam (PLE).
The band celebrated Mesina’s achievement with the heartfelt message, “Our boy made it!!!!! Everyone say congratulations Doc Mesina for passing the boards!!” Fans flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages.
Lola Amour, known for hit songs like “Fallen,” “Maybe Maybe,” “Umiinit,” and “Raining in Manila,” released their debut album in April and went on a successful tour across the Philippines. The band recently announced they are working on new music with producers in Malaysia.
