Nakatakdang ipatupad ng buong Central Luzon police force ang public safety campaign para sa buong summer holiday season na tinatawag na ‘LIGTAS SUMVAC 2022’.
“I gave directives to all City/Provincial Directors from the different Police Provincial/City Police Offices to ensure the safe and secure travel of motorists and commuters this coming Lenten Season and summer vacation,” sinabi ni Police Regional Office 3 Regional Director Brigadier General Matthew P. Baccay.
“As a matter of fact, we have already deployed more than one thousand personnel regionwide on April 1,” dagdag pa niya.
Aniya, pinaiigting ang presensya ng mga pulis sa pamamagitan ng pagpaparami ng foot/mobile patrol at pagtatatag ng Police Assistance Desks/Centers (PADs/PACs).
Ang mga road safety marshal ay inilalagay sa mga convergence point partikular sa mga terminal ng bus, paliparan, mga daungan at mga lugar na libangan kabilang ang mga highway, mga pangunahing lansangan at mga lugar na madaling pangyarihan ng krimen upang matiyak ang pinakamataas na presensya ng pulisya.
Inatasan din ni Baccay ang lahat ng commanders na makipag-ugnayan sa mga local government units (LGUs), non-government organizations (NGOs), at iba pang government entities at volunteer groups sa pagtatatag ng PADs/PACs at sa pag-deploy ng Road Safety Marshalls para sa isang collaborative at unified delivery of public safety service at help.
