A woman claiming to be the mother of the basketball player allegedly shot by PBA cager John Amores in Laguna visited the police station on Wednesday, where Amores was being held. Visibly furious, she was not allowed to see Amores, who was behind bars.

“I will teach that braggart a lesson. He already has many cases,” she angrily said. “I didn’t raise my children only for him to kill.”

Despite the shooting incident, police reports revealed that the victim was unharmed. Amores, who surrendered to authorities on Thursday, is facing an attempted murder charge and will undergo an inquest. He refused to comment on the incident.

The altercation occurred after a basketball game in Lumban, Laguna, with video footage showing Amores firing at the victim in the middle of the street.
