Stephen Curry delivered a standout performance with 27 points, nine assists, and seven rebounds, helping the Golden State Warriors secure a thrilling 118-112 win over the Boston Celtics at TD Garden on Wednesday. The victory marked Golden State’s fifth straight win and kept their perfect 5-0 road record intact.

Down by seven in the fourth quarter, the Warriors launched a decisive 16-4 run, taking a 104-99 lead after a Curry layup with 2:30 remaining. Despite a late push from Boston — who closed within three points after Payton Pritchard sank three free throws with 16 seconds left — the Warriors sealed the game by hitting 3 of 4 free throws down the stretch.

Alongside Curry, Buddy Hield and Andrew Wiggins each contributed 16 points. Jayson Tatum led all scorers with 32 points for the Celtics, whose three-game winning streak came to an end. Derrick White also shined for Boston, hitting seven three-pointers and finishing with 26 points.

Golden State’s win lifts their season record to 7-1, their best start since the 2021-22 season. The Celtics were missing Jaylen Brown, sidelined by a hip injury, which may have contributed to their early shooting struggles. Boston ended the first half shooting only 35.1% from the field and trailed 51-40 at halftime.

Boston rallied in the third, scoring 41 points behind Tatum’s 17-point quarter and ultimately took the lead early in the fourth. However, Golden State’s resilience prevailed, with Curry’s sharp shooting keeping them in contention before they closed out the win.
