Karl Eldrew Yulo, along with other Filipino gymnasts, delivered an outstanding performance at the Hong Kong Artistic Gymnastics International Invitation Championships (Chiu Wai Chung Cup), securing multiple medals for the Philippines.

Yulo took center stage with a stellar haul of seven gold medals, claiming victories in the individual all-around, floor exercise, vault, parallel bars, horizontal bar, pommel horse, and still rings events.

The Philippine junior and senior teams also clinched gold in the team categories, further solidifying the country’s dominance in the competition.

Juancho Miguel Besana earned a commendable tally with gold medals in the individual all-around, floor exercise, and pommel horse. He also won silver in still rings, parallel bars, and vault, along with a bronze in the horizontal bar. Meanwhile, Justine Ace de Leon secured golds in still rings and parallel bars, as well as a bronze in the vault.

Overall, the Philippines amassed an impressive total of 14 golds, six silvers, and five bronzes, showcasing the exceptional talent and determination of its gymnasts.

This achievement follows a series of notable performances by Philippine athletes in international gymnastics events, cementing the country’s growing prominence in the sport.
