Philmar Alipayo melted hearts this Valentine’s Day by gifting Andi Eigenmann a handcrafted bouquet featuring a banana blossom (bulaklak ng saging) and fresh flowers.
In a video posted on Instagram, the Siargao-based surfer was seen picking the banana bud himself and arranging it with colorful blooms. He captioned the post: “Bahala saging basta kinasing-kasing” (“It doesn’t matter if it’s just a banana as long as it’s given from the heart”).
Eigenmann’s joy was evident as she received the bouquet, jokingly telling their children Lilo and Koa, “Guys, look! We have lunch!” The kids excitedly joined in, greeting their parents with a cheerful “Happy Valentine’s Day!”
This sweet moment comes just days after the couple made headlines over a relationship rift involving Swedish entrepreneur Pernilla Sjoo. However, they have since reconciled, with Alipayo previously posting, “Okay na kami. Sana kayo rin.” (“We’re okay. I hope you guys are too.”)
Eigenmann and Alipayo have been together since 2018 and got engaged in 2020.
