Rabiya Mateo has confirmed that she is still in a relationship with actor Jeric Gonzales, despite rumors of a breakup after she unfollowed him on Instagram. In a recent appearance on “The Boobay and Tekla Show,” Mateo explained that she unfollowed Gonzales during a bad day but clarified that they are still together and working on their relationship.
“Jeric found out about it through social media, but we were together that day and had just returned from a trip to Taiwan,” she shared, dismissing the breakup speculations. The Miss Universe Philippines 2020 titleholder emphasized that they are committed to working through their differences, saying, “We’re not giving up, so I guess it’s still a good story.”
Mateo also expressed her love and appreciation for Gonzales, thanking him for keeping her grounded and for reminding her that their relationship is more than what people see online.
The couple first sparked breakup rumors in 2022 due to a misunderstanding but later reconciled on Valentine’s Day last year.
