RM, the leader of the globally acclaimed BTS, is ready to dazzle the music world with his second solo album, “Right Place, Wrong Person,” slated for release in May. The album, embracing an alternative genre, will feature 11 new tracks that explore the poignant themes of alienation and personal identity.

BigHit Music, on their Weverse platform, announced that the upcoming album promises a sonically rich experience combined with RM’s trademark candid and introspective lyrics. They expressed enthusiasm for the support and anticipation from fans, highlighting the deep emotional connection that RM’s music fosters.

Pre-orders for the album kicked off on April 26, with the official release scheduled for May 24. Fans in Korea and the Philippines can mark their calendars for 1 p.m. and 12 p.m. respectively.

The anticipation for “Right Place, Wrong Person” builds on the success of RM’s debut solo album, “Indigo,” released in December 2022. The BTS rapper has continued to engage his fans during the group’s hiatus, with all members currently serving their mandatory military service. BTS plans to reunite in 2025, but until then, each member is exploring individual music projects.

RM’s forthcoming album is expected to resonate with fans and critics alike, further cementing his status as a profound solo artist in the international music scene.
