Shuvee Etrata recently shared how her connection with fellow Sparkle star Anthony Constantino began, revealing that he was the one who took the first step.
In an episode of Your Honor, the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate admitted she already had a crush on Anthony, but it was the LA-raised model who reached out first.
“I first noticed Anthony in Esnyr’s series, then I saw him pop up on my TikTok FYP. I reposted his video, and that’s how it started,” Shuvee said. She described her ideal type as “tall, dark, and handsome” — like her celebrity crush Donny Pangilinan — and said Anthony matched that look perfectly.
Shortly after reposting, Anthony followed her on social media and sent her a direct message. She recalled thinking he was in LA at the time, which gave her confidence to reply.
His opening message? “Hi, ganda,” to which she cheekily answered, “Hi, pogi.”
As their relationship progressed, Anthony invited her to church and began courting her in the traditional Filipino way. “He’s a church guy, but also liberated. He had to learn how to court Filipino-style. He’s a pure Filipino, so those values are in him,” Shuvee explained.
The romance actually started before she entered the PBB house, and she added that Anthony has already met her parents. When asked if she taught him how to court traditionally, she replied, “I can never teach a man how to become a man.”
After her recent PBB eviction, Anthony welcomed her with flowers. Shuvee proudly showed him off on Instagram, calling him her “TDH” guy — short for “tall, dark, and handsome,” a term she originally used for Donny Pangilinan.
