A 71-year-old man was killed, and his wife sustained injuries after their son allegedly attacked them in a fit of rage in Davao City.
According to authorities, the suspect reportedly became furious when his parents urged him to find work to support the family.

The suspect’s nephew stated that the violent outburst began while the father was chopping firewood. The suspect attacked him with a sharp weapon, inflicting fatal wounds on his shoulder and neck. He then turned on his 58-year-old mother inside the house, striking her in the head.
The mother was rushed to the hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
